Can I tour the building or walk the site?
In that the building is an active construction site at this time, public tours are not available. What is the project timeline?
Construction commenced in December 2022 and is expected to come to completion in the fourth quarter of 2024. A grand re-opening celebration is planned to occur in spring 2025.

When can I apply for an apartment?
Applications will likely be accepted beginning in the second or third quarter of 2024. If you’d like to join an interest list please contact info@danriverfalls.com.
What type of apartments will be available?
Dan River Falls will offer two types of apartments: workforce apartments for those who earn less than 80% of the median income levels, and market rate apartments which are available to all others. In order to qualify for a workforce apartment, your annual household income must fall at or below 80% of Pittsylvania County’s Area Median Income level. For purposes of an example in 2023, for a household of one individual, their income must be at or below $42,400. The workforce apartment rental ranges are established at an affordable level; however, the rent is not subsidized by the government as it would be in Section 8 housing. Residents of workforce housing benefit from affordable housing in an urban core – an area and lifestyle that they might not otherwise be able to afford and enjoy. With greater access to transportation and employment opportunities, individuals and families thrive.
Will condos be available for purchase?
Dan River Falls will only be providing apartments for rent, rather than condominiums for purchase.
Do you have floor plans available for the living spaces?
Given the changes that can occur during the construction process marketing floor plans are typically not made available until approximately six months before construction comes to completion. Floor plan graphics for the apartments will be made available in the second or third quarter of 2024.
